De werktaalstage is bedoeld voor klanten met een inburgeringsplicht. In onze gemeente kiezen we voor een duaal traject: integratie en participatie worden daarbij met elkaar gecombineerd. Voor de inburgering moeten klanten verplicht een aantal participatie-uren maken (minimaal 40 uur en maximaal 800 uur). Deze vullen zij in door het doen van een werktaalstage. De werktaalstage ondersteunt klanten met een inburgeringsplicht bij het opbouwen van werkritme, het ontwikkelen van sociale en werknemersvaardigheden en het versterken van zelfredzaamheid in combinatie met intensieve taaloefening. Het doel is om deze klanten met behoud van uitkering naast hun taallessen arbeidsritme op te doen en te laten participeren en integreren in onze samenleving. Jobcoaching wordt ingezet bij de start van een werkervaringsplaats, proefplaatsing of arbeidsovereenkomst.
