Replacement of HMI computers and control system parts (SCM system) at two stations. The project aims to replace aging HMI computers (9 years old, technical lifespan 8-10 years) and the SCM system (near end of 10-year lifespan) at ST10 Barkeryd and ST20 Hurva. The remainder of the control systems have longer lifespans (20 years) and are not replaced.

Svenska kraftnät har behov av att upphandla HMI datorer och tillhörande utrustning i station ST10 Barkeryd och ST20 Hurva. I varje station finns det två omriktarstationer. Kontrollanläggningarna i stationerna utgörs till största delen av datorer och datorerna för HMI systemen närmar sig sin tekniska livslängd, 8-10 år, och är i behov av en förnyelse då de nu är 9 år gamla. Övriga delar av kontrollanläggningarna har betydande livslängd kvar. Livslängden på en del av kontrollsystemet i ST10 Barkeryd och ST20 Hurva i HVDC, SCM-systemet är snart föråldrat och har uppnått sin tekniska livslängd. Den tekniska livslängden på SCM-Systemet beräknas till 10 år och för övriga delar i kontrollsystemet beräknas livslängden till 20 år. Projektet byter därmed ut en del av kontrollanläggningen 10 år innan ett fullständigt utbyte.
