Die Stromnetz Berlin GmbH führt im Auftrag und auf Rechnung des Landes Berlin Modernisierungsmaßnahmen und Erneuerungsmaßnahmen zur öffentlichen Straßenbeleuchtung durch. Gegenstand der Ausschreibung ist ein Vertrag über die Lieferung von technischen Straßenleuchten. Zweck der Ausschreibung ist die Deckung des Bedarfes an Leuchten für den Ersatz altersbedingt abgängiger Leuchten. Dieses Vorhaben wird aus Mitteln des Sondervermögens für Infrastruktur und Klimaneutralität finanziert.
