Belgian Mobility Company SA (BMC) est une société de droit public dont l'objet social est de conceptualiser et de développer un système de billetterie électronique commun pour les billets de transport public en Belgique. BMC souhaite faire appel à des sociétés externes pour la production de cartes à microprocesseur, notamment les cartes à puce Calypso, pour le compte des sociétés de transport public en Belgique. Les sociétés de transport public en Belgique sont: - SNCB - STIB - De Lijn - TEC Ces sociétés pourront acheter les cartes à puces directement et sans exclusivité selon les spécifications et les modalités qui seront précisées dans le cahier des charges. La norme Calypso est spécifiée dans les spécifications des objets portables Calypso révision 3. La norme actuelle est Calypso révision 3.2, mais pendant l'exécution de la mission, il peut également être possible de demander une évolution technologique vers une version Calypso ultérieure à déterminer.
