La Empresa Municipal de Aguas de La Coruña, S.A. (Emalcsa) es la gestora del sistema general de abastecimiento a A Coruña, y a los municipios de Arteixo, Culleredo, Oleiros, Sada, Cambre, Bergondo y Carral. Asimismo, también es la gestora del sistema de saneamiento en Carral. Este sistema de abastecimiento está compuesto por todas las instalaciones necesarias para poder realizar el suministro del agua potable hasta los clientes (captación, tratamiento y distribución). Del mismo modo, una red de pozos y colectores conforman la red de saneamiento de Carral.
