Ziel der Maßnahme ist es, den erhöhten Breitbandbedarf von mindestens 1 Gbit/s zur Verfügung stellen zu können. Hierfür sind Aufgrabungen und die Verlegung von Rohrmaterialien in offener Bauweise in Trassen, grabenlose Rohrverlegearbeiten, sowie das Setzen von Schächten, Kabelschränken, der Einzug, die Montage und Messungen (OTDR) von LWL-Kabeln/Glasfaserstrecken notwendig. Nach dem Bau der Leerrohr- und Verteilerinfrastruktur müssen die Lichtwellenleiter (LWL-Kabel) eingeblasen und an den Übergabe- und Anschlusspunkten montiert werden.
