De belangrijkste doelstelling is het operationaliseren van de visie visie ‘OPEN Ruimtenetwerk in en rond Brussel’ in de projecten en instrumenten van de verschillende partners (RPA, RUP, landinrichtingsplannen, gebiedsprogramma’s, lokale projecten, bijkomende oppervlakte toegankelijk groen, bos, Brussels Natuurplan, Groen Netwerk, Brussels Ecologisch Netwerk, vergunningenbeleid,...) in samenwerking met lokale besturen, gebruikers, investeerders en eigenaars van open ruimte gebieden.
