Die Bundesgesellschaft für Endlagerung mbH (BGE) nutzt zunehmend digitale 3D Modelle von bestehenden technischen Anlagen, Bauwerken und Infrastruktur (Verkehrswege, Medienleitungen) ihrer Betriebsstätten und Tageanlagen zu unterschiedlichen Zwecken. Zu diesen Anwendungsfällen zählen: Visualisierung in frühen Bauphasen zur Bewertung von Machbarkeitsstudien; Information und Visualisierung in voll immersiven (VR) oder halb immersiven (AR) Technologien für Bürgerbeteiligungen und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit; Szenarien‐Planung von Logistikvorgängen und anderen Abläufen zur Prozessoptimierung; Training und Schulungen im geschützten Bereich. Für den Betrieb von Infrastrukturen werden semantisierte 3D Modelle zur Visualisierung von Infrastrukturen und deren Assets sowie zur Navigation (wo befinden sich Assets) genutzt. An den Assets können weitergehende Informationen (Stammdaten, Dokumente, Instandhaltungsdaten, Messwerte) visualisiert werden. Eine Visualisierung kann hierbei z.B. über Augmented Reality‐Equipment erfolgen. Zusätzlich werden zunehmend 3D BIM Modelle aus Planungs‐ und Bauprojekten in die betrieblichen Abläufe übernommen. Der Auftragnehmer (AN) konzipiert und erstellt auf Basis von bereitgestellten Daten frei begehbare, interaktive Echtzeitanwendungen zur Durchführung virtueller Präsentationen, Rundgänge, Animationen, Videos und Schulungen. Die Anwendung ist mit einer Game Engine zu entwickeln.
